PATHWAYS™ is a Dynamic, Pastoral and Meaningful PRESENTATION explaining to couples the STEPS they need to take to have a Sacramental Marriage.

PATHWAYS™ is an INVITATION

to what often is a hurting or disparaged part of our Catholic community. It is an innovative and pastoral way to surface those in need of Convalidation and/or Sacramental Marriage.

A WAY to SURFACE COUPLES in need of CONVALIDATION and/or SACRAMENTAL MARRIAGE

The centerpiece of PATHWAYS™ is an Informal Gathering in which attendees learn about Sacramental Marriage, Convalidation, Declaration of Nullity, and the STEPS to potentially Exchange of Vows in the Catholic Church.

PRESENTATION can also be given ONE-ON-ONE to INDIVIDUAL COUPLES

If you are looking for a clear, compassionate way to explain the Convalidation and/or Sacramental Marriage process, PATHWAYS™ is a great option. It includes real testimonies, real trials filled with HOPE.

PRAY SLIPS help them INVITE God into this process

The PARTICIPANT KIT includes a set of Prayer Envelopes for 11 Days to be used after the Presentation. Each Prayer Slip includes the sections:

  • PRAYING TOGETHER
  • LISTENING TOGETHER
  • SHARING TOGETHER

KEY COMPONENTS OF A PATHWAYS™ GATHERING

  • Powerful PowerPoint Presentation that is accurate, informative and effective and follows SIX STEPS that include Prayer u0026amp; Discernment; Telling their Story u0026amp; Declaration of Nullity (if needed); the Parish Marriage Preparation for Sacramental Marriage process; Sacrament of Reconciliation; Exchange of Vows; and Living a Sacramental Marriage.
  • Witness of couple(s) who discovered God’s plan for their marriage through Marriage Convalidation and Sacramental Marriage.
  • Declaration of Nullity Advocacy and help with initial paperwork.
  • Accompaniment by the parish PATHWAYS™ team that speaks to being “missionary, going out to where people are” and leading them to the Lord (USCCB Pastoral Framework Call to the Mission of Love).
  • Prayer as couples are prayed for and with and given ten Couple Prayer Envelopes with a prayerful process to use in the days following the PATHWAYS™; Gathering.
